If you've seen these beautiful squares and want to learn how to crochet them, come along and learn the techniques to create one of your very own and gain the skills to continue at home and make something bigger with multiple squares. This is a more intermediate class so basic skills would be an advantage but not impossible if you have never crocheted before as I work with a group and also provide one on one help, so if you are a beginner, come and give it a go. All materials are included in the price and you will be able to take your hook and wool with you to make more at home from what you learn. A yummy food platter, coffee, tea and water will also be supplied on the day for all of us to share.

We will look at the contrast and using textures. How does the camera see the image and how do we create Black and White images in a camera or in post-production. We will look for some good examples and set some exercises.

As well as learning how to interact with people to get the required expressions and emotions, we will also learn how to naturally pose your subjects to capture more effective shots.
In addition, we will look at the most relevant camera settings, learn how to use your lens/lenses most effectively, and discover how to take advantage of various light/lighting situations.
